This cold and flu season is already off to a crazy start, between RSV, the flu, and Covid 19, hospitals, clinics, and urgent care centers are overwhelmed. If you need an herbal consultation, we can schedule one online. As always, it payment is sliding scale, from $0 to $120, we never ask or require proof.

Sliding-scale People's Herbal Wellness Clinics provide one-on-one consultations to help the client begin working holistically for greater health & wellness.

In the abbreviated clinics, clients will receive a 25-minute educational consultation with an herbalist or an herbal apprentice who will gladly discuss their concerns and how to use accessible and safe herbs from the garden, the grocery, or the health-food store to support their body, along with possible supplements and lifestyle modifications. 

We do not diagnose or prescribe. If your doctor has not diagnosed your ailment, we will refer you to them or another practitioner that can help you. Holistic means the whole person, so we may also discuss how changes to your lifestyle, habits, diet, and exercise can help, and we might refer you to another practitioner that could help.

You may sign-up for an appointment or walk-in knowing it is first-come-first-served, and you may not be seen if the spots are full. Payment will be on a sliding scale and is on the honor system. We do not require any proof of ability to pay.

You are expected to keep your appointment or contact hwblouisvillecoordinator@gmail.com IMMEDIATELY if you cannot attend so we may fill your spot. This is a pay-what-you-can clinic, and, when required, appointments are very limited. Please be courteous to our volunteers and others who may like an appointment, and make sure you can attend at your chosen time. You should come 15 minutes early to complete the required intake forms, or your appointment could be cut short. We will confirm your attendance 48-72 hours in advance. You will be required to complete an intake form before your appointment, including total health, lifestyle, and habits history. This information will be held in the strictest confidence. It is imperative to list all prescriptions, drugs (legal and illegal), supplements, diagnosed conditions, and history because there can be contraindications for specific herbal remedies.

They are herbalists, herbal apprentices, and other holistic practitioners who will work with me to achieve my personal health goals. Their services do not take the place of a medical doctor.
